How to make homemade snow

You can make your very own snow at home using only two household ingredients. It's a great sensory activity and the kids can build little snowmen and play in the 'snow' without getting frost bite.

To make your own you will need:

500g of bicarbonate soda

1 x can of shaving cream (give or take)

Step 1

Pour the bicarbonate soda into a large bowl.

Step 2

Pour in your shaving cream (we used just under one can to get the consistency we were after - there are no exact measurements).

Step 3

Give is a really good stir until all ingredients are well combined.

Step 4

Hand it over to the kiddos to get their play on! They will love it!
